Who We Are
Maplewood Youth Group is a place where teens come to belong! Friendship building is important while at the same time seeking to become students of the Word of God and to develop a heart for the lost. Youth group is open to ANY student in 7th-12th grades. Students do not have to be Christians to attend youth group. This is a place where students are welcome to learn more about the Lord.
What We Do
We seek to know Jesus more intimately through regular meetings offered two times per week. We offer time for fellowship, prayer, small groups, worship, and Bible study. We also do various special activities throughout the year including Ponca Bible Camp, Missions Trips, Teen Retreats, Super Bowl Party, and other special events!
When We Meet
Wednesday Nights: 6:30-7:45 pm
- Youth group begins at 6:30. This is our time to gather together and worship, hear from God’s Word, and be inspired to continue our walks with the Lord Jesus. These nights have music, a message, a short time of fun, prayer, testimonies, and other things.
Sunday School: 9:15-10:15 am
- Traditionally this time has been a teaching time for students. We desire there to be a small group for students during this time. However, this is in the works.
Sunday Nights: 6-7:30 pm
- We start the evening with fun activities together! We desire these times to be what we call “Grow Groups”. After a short activity, students are in a small group with other students and an adult leader. The topic for fall 2018 will be traits of a disciple. We also encourage students to participate in our daily devotional book.
