Who We Are
Maplewood Youth Group is a place where teens come to have fun together! Friendship building is important while at the same time seeking to become students of the Word of God and to develop a heart for the lost. Youth group is open to ANY student in 7th-12th grades. Students do not have to be Christians to attend youth group. This is a place where students are welcome to learn more about the Lord.
What We Do
We seek to know Jesus more intimately through regular meetings offered three times per week. We offer time for fellowship, prayer, small groups, worship, and Bible study. We also do various special activities throughout the year including Ponca Bible Camp, Missions Trips, Teen Retreats, Bowling, Super Bowl Party, Guys’ Nights, Girls’ Nights, and others!
When We Meet
Sunday School: 9:15-10:15 am
- This is our Sunday morning meeting. The 7th-12th graders all meet together in the ROC building before church services. This school year we are learning how to study the Bible and apply it for ourselves.
Sunday Nights: 6-7:30 pm
- We start the evening with fun activities together! This is followed by a teaching time and small group discussions. This school year each Sunday evening is for all 7th-12th grade students. Our goal is to have one special event each month!
Wednesday Nights: 6:30-8 pm
- On Wednesday nights during the school year from 5:30-6:10 a meal is served. This is optional and costs $2 for students and adults to eat. Youth group formally begins at 6:30 with a quick game which is followed by a time with age appropriate discussion groups with multiple adult leaders.
