Who We Are
Maplewood Youth Group is a place where teens come to have fun together! Friendship building is important while at the same time seeking to become students of the Word of God and to develop a heart for the lost. Youth group is open to ANY student in 7th-12th grades. Students do not have to be Christians to attend youth group. This is a place where students are welcome to learn more about the Lord.
What We Do
We seek to know Jesus more intimately through regular meetings offered two to three times per week. We offer time for fellowship, prayer, small groups, worship, and Bible study. We also do various special activities throughout the year including Ponca Bible Camp, Missions Trips, Teen Retreats, Super Bowl Party, and other special events!
When We Meet
Sunday School: 9:15-10:15 am
- This is our Sunday morning meeting. The 7th-12th graders all meet together in the ROC building before church services. This year we are going through the gospel of John.
Sunday Nights: 6-7:30 pm
- We start the evening with fun activities together! We have a time of Bible study together. We are currently looking at spiritual gifts and how they build up the church. Later this spring we will have a familiy ministry time!
Wednesday Nights: 6:30-7:45 pm
- Youth group begins at 6:30 with a quick activity together. We then have a short, relevant teaching time followed by discussion groups. These are led by adults and older high school students.
