Small Groups

Grow Group is a small group of people meeting together weekly for encouragement toward growth in each person’s relationship with God – through Bible study, prayer, and community. A group leader helps to guide and lead discussion in the area of study. The study focus during Grow Groups changes as time goes on.

Throughout the week we have small groups (8-12 people) that meet in a host home. In the spring of 2020 groups will be working through various studies listed below. These will start the week of 1/12/20. The following is the list of Maplewood Grow Groups:

  • Wed PM, 7-8:30 – led by John and Rita White

    • Located on the southeast side of Sedalia

Sunday School

Sunday School groups meet weekly at 9:15am. These groups are elective Bible studies on a variety of topics or Books of the Bible. All electives are selected with prayerful consideration and forethought seeking to encourage adults to live godly lives according to Biblical principles. A philosophy of personal growth and social interaction is an integral part of each.

  • Studying through the book of Jude (Spring 2020)
  • Studying the life of Elijah (Spring 2020)
  • Studying Simplicity – finding contentment. (Spring 2020)

Prayer Meeting

Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm in the CE Building Fellowship Hall. A time to meet together and lift the needs of the church, missionaries, local schools, government, and more up to God.

Ladies Bible Study

Tuesday Mornings at 9:00 am in the ROC Green Room. Led by Pam Young. The Spring 2020 study is “Better”, a study of Hebrews by Jan Wilkins.

Wednesday Evenings at 6:00 pm in the ROC Green Room. Led by Brenda Allcorn. The Spring 2020 study is “A Wandering People”, a study of God’s plan of redemption.
